The Bariloche region, including the Nahuel Huapi National Park and other natural reserves, offer a wonderful range of spectacular scenery and also cover a significant variety of habitats. From the high-andean through wet forest and transition forest to the Patagonian steppe we can see up to around 110 native bird species. 24 from these are endemic of the Patagonian Andes.
